For your benefit, please take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of your property so that no further damage is caused. These actions are also part of your obligations as an insured. For more information, see the “Duties in the Event of a Loss” section of your policy. Any expenses you incur for a covered loss may be considered part of your claim, so please retain your receipts for any temporary repairs made. In the event of a Vandalism or Theft loss, it may be advisable to:
Board and secure the property
File a police report
Take photos of the damage
Obtain an estimate from a trusted contractor
Please note that we will acknowledge your submission of information. This acknowledgement does not mean that the information is complete and final. We will need to review the submitted information and you may be asked to submit additional information during the incident investigation and settlement process.
Claims are adjudicated and settled by the insurance carrier relative to the respective location. PCFG Insurance does not determine coverage, pay, or deny claims.
